10 Reasons This Past Week Should Not Have Happened

I would like to make a list of reasons why this past week (and weekend) should not have happened.

1. I hurt my leg(s) last weekend and therefore had this funky limp for several days this week. If you saw someone walking slowly and limping on both legs- it was me. It was painful and I developed shin splints from the way I was limping apparently. I don't have a parking pass for campus- I walk 20 minutes to campus every morning. So when I couldn't find a ride to school...I had to walk. It hurt, it made me tired and it made me irritable.

2. I had far too much school work to accomplish. I calculated it up and this week alone I was supposed to have read over 300 pages. Do you think that happened? Don't make me laugh.

3. At work we had a 7 AM meeting. Bah.

4. I got into an argument with a friend, it wasn't fun. I haven't spoken to that person since.

5. I didn't do very well on a paper. I talked to several other students who ALL agreed that the teacher was horridly vague and unclear about the paper. So I don't feel like it is my fault. However, something tells me that I'm not going to score very highly on that paper. Which makes me annoyed because I generally do better on papers than anything else in the class.

6. My car was towed. It wasn't really my fault- the person I was visiting told me I could park there and there were not proper signs informing me that if I parked there that I would be towed. You don't put a sign that say "VISITOR PARKING" across the top and then in very small print under it put the details of how/when/why you are allowed to park there. So in the middle of the night I had to WALK to the towing place (as my friend doesn't have a car and my phone was dead), wait for over an hour and a half, and then pay $150.

7. I went out with a guy about 2 weeks ago. I didn't have a good time. I saw the guy again this weekend and he asked me out. I tried very tactfully to tell him that I wasn't interested. When he finally figured out that I was saying no simply because I didn't like him very much he then proceeded to curse me out. Calling me a high and mighty "b" who thought she was better than him and telling me how I wasn't even pretty and he was doing me a favor. He also threw in several other choice words including one that started with an "f" that he used several times. Oh, and I believe I was called a slut- even though I don't have a clue how he felt justified in calling me that.

8. I worked for nearly 9 hours on Saturday and was so exhausted by the time I got home that I missed the ward opening social that I was really looking forward to. Then, showing up on Sunday I felt completely out of the loop because apparently most of the ward had gone and they had all gotten to know each other and had "bonded" or something.

9. I accidentally dried my favorite shirt. It shrunk and I can't wear it anymore. Bah.

10. I haven't been sleeping very well lately due to all of these things and that makes me prone to migraines. Nuff said.

I know I'm dropping a random comment out of the ether here, but hey; that sucks. Kudos to you that you are still moving forward. Jerk guy mentioned in number 7 is a dingbat, no question.

man, that is a super sucky week. I think you are a great person, and I think you made the right choice by not dating that guy anymore. I have a feeling this week will be better. If not, there is always cookies :)

Wow...some guys are seriously full of themselves! Holy Crap. It's okay he's probably got a small penis and a bad case of syphillis... he's just trying to make up for the fact that you wounded his already pathetic ego, because you're a very beautiful girl!

Sorry about your week. Just FYI: the only reason a guy would act like that is if he has no soul.
